There’s a whole world of Etsy shops selling digital “junk journal” assets… distressed paper, vintage stamps, botanical prints.
One shop has racked up over 487,000 sales.
Joshua Mayo explains the appeal
These are digital assets, which means they make them once and they can sell them over and over again as digital downloads.
One bundle pulled in about $2,766 in 22 days – roughly $125/day in revenue from a single listing
The clever bit: instead of designing each file by hand, you point AI at a style that’s already selling and have it build a generator that pumps out a whole bundle in minutes.
The same trick works for seamless patterns – wallpaper, wrapping paper, fabric – and SVG bundles for Cricut and t-shirts.
One SVG shop has pulled in an estimated $1.7M
It’s not free money – you’ll need volume, sharp mockups, and consistency.
But the grunt work just got a lot cheaper
