$250K in 8 Months Selling Fresh-Squeezed Lemonade

  • $250,000 in sales over 8 months

A lemonade stand is what kids do to make $20 in the summer. So most people overlook it 👀

Don in Dallas didn’t. He recently shared how Boo Boo’s Lemonade – run with his wife and three homeschooled kids – pulled in $250K in sales over just 8 months last year, across two farmers markets plus catering 🤯

His whole edge is being genuinely fresh-squeezed, made to order – one lemon, simple syrup, ice and water in a 32oz cup 🍋

Plenty of vendors sell “fresh” lemonade that’s really Country Time or Milo’s from Walmart, at the same $7. Don’s is the real thing…

…people aren’t stupid… they’ll taste ours, they taste theirs

🤑 At $7 a cup that costs him about $1.25, that’s roughly an 82% margin. Startup was around $1,500, mostly a lemon wedger and a smasher.

A good Saturday in Dallas does $2,500. He also caters events ($1,000–3,000 a pop) and rents the cart out for weddings.

His advice for anyone sitting on the idea 👇

Just do it. Stop overthinking it… get a table, get a tent, and then just post up.

Most farmers markets have no real fresh-squeezed vendor. Could be yours 😎
